More Info on Huddles

Huddles are one of the best environments to Engage, Equip and Empower coaches and athletes.

Definition of a Huddle: A consistent small group of coaches or athletes designed to engage, equip and empower them to make disciples who make disciples.

We Have 3 Types of Huddles:

·   Coaches - A Huddle that is comprised of sport coaches

·   Community - A Huddle that involves coaches and athletes from travel, club, or league sports environments

·   Campus - A Huddle that involves coaches and athletes from a school campus

Each Huddle is certified through FCA.  Here's why certifications are important:

1. Steward Ministry: As donors invest, it is motivating to them that we take the time to report back what we are seeing God do through FCA. Huddles also are one of the most inspiring elements that donors love to see grow.

2. Protect Volunteers: In order to offer the correct measure of legal protection to our huddle coaches, certification is a must. Certification assures us that there is an equipped leader who has been affirmed through the MLA process. We know the enemy is working against us in the public schools, so let's be wise in not leaving our key volunteers out on their own.

3. Celebrate Impact: Numbers don't tell the whole story, but they sure tell some of it. Every huddle represents our desire to engage, equip and empower every coach and athlete. This allows us to collectively celebrate the ministry God is doing through FCA.
